Fantasy Finale & Super Bowl All-Nighter
The fantasy league gets its champion, the squares board gets its numbers and the big game gets watched live, all night, on the big projector in the garage. When the final whistle goes, the pan goes on.

- 22:00 SASTThe game airs live in the small hours. Stay up for all of it.
- Venue
- Brenton’s garageProjector, couches, beanbags. Northcliff, Johannesburg
- Wear
- Any jersey. Slippers encouraged.NFL, Bok, your school first team: all fine. Pyjama bottoms are legal after midnight.
- Squares
- R20 a blockA 10 × 10 board, numbers drawn at midnight, paid out at the end of every quarter.
- Breakfast
- At the final whistleBoerewors-and-egg rolls, flapjacks and strong coffee. Last place in the league fries the eggs.
The game plan
- 22:00 Doors, wings & nachos. Buy your squares.
- 23:00 Fantasy league finale: the trophy, the speeches, the shame jersey for last place.
- 00:00 Squares board closes and the numbers are drawn.
- Small hours Kick-off, live. Halftime show on full volume.
- Final whistle Super Bowl breakfast, around sunrise.
Bring
- A pillow & a blanket
- A camp chair or a beanbag
- R20 notes for the squares
- Your jersey (any code, any team)
- Something fizzy for the third quarter
- Monday morning off, if you can swing it
